Lelia M. Smith, born March 24, 1917 passed away on Oct 8th, 2016. She
was proceeded in death by husband Edward and children Jesse R. Tomkins
and Michele E. McKinney and her brother James H. Tetley. She is survived
by her children Barbara and Edward, She also is survived by five
grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She always put her family and
friends first. She worked for over twenty-five years for National
Westminster Bank, after it merge with another bank they asked her if she
would come back...

Lelia M. Smith, born March 24, 1917 passed away on Oct 8th, 2016. She
was proceeded in death by husband Edward and children Jesse R. Tomkins
and Michele E. McKinney and her brother James H. Tetley. She is survived
by her children Barbara and Edward, She also is survived by five
grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She always put her family and
friends first. She worked for over twenty-five years for National
Westminster Bank, after it merge with another bank they asked her if she
would come back to work again and she worked part-time till she was
85years old and decide that was enough and retired again. Mom traveled a
lot to Europe and all over the country. She loved the Arts, theatre and opera.
She was on the planting committee for Central Park. She also member of
the Metropolition Museum. She became a member of the Episcopal Church
of the Heavenly Rest, she loved the church and got involved with many
ministries such a once a month cooking a meal for aid patients. Submitted
